Perfect size, classy looking
This was the second garlic keeper that I purchased. This one is very classy looking and the perfect size. Most of the garlic keepers are too big and bulky. This is what you need to make great smash burgers!
A couple years ago, I found a recipe for Oklahoma Onion Burgers. These are made with a ball of ground beef (about 3 ounces) which is smashed very flat on a griddle and cooked to get crispy edges. I won't get into the recipe. You can look up many versions of it online. But I started making these burgers for family cookouts and they were a massive hit. Best burgers I've ever made. I was making them with a very sturdy steel spatula, and it did a pretty good job. Then, I found this marvelous device. This allows me to push down directly onto the burger, rather than leveraging a spatula from the side. This is the way to do it, and this burger press is most excellent, and also lovely to look it. A beautiful merge of form and function. I will make more smash burgers than ever before. I love it! A couple years ago, I found a recipe for Oklahoma Onion Burgers. Prefect Design
This product is by far the best smash-burger press I've seen or used! The handle allows for easy grip, and the round shape allows you to perfectly mold you're burgers as you press them down. Works great! I would give 10 stars if I could! This product is by far the best smash-burger press I've seen or used! The handle allows for easy grip, and... The most comfortable to hold smashburger press
I wasn’t sure how much I would like this product from the photo, but I thought I would give it a try. I was impressed on two levels. First the metal surface of this press was not only a larger diameter than I expected, but it was also thicker and heavier than I would have also imagined. What was even more surprising was the handle. It is so pretty, so comfortable to hold and when I mean comfortable when I put my palm on the handle, the wood feels so soft. (if that makes any sense. If you don’t understand what I’m saying you’ll just have to buy this product and see. Hopefully that soft touch will remain after washing it a few times but it feels so nice. I sometimes find myself just picking it up even when I’m not cooking burgers. I wasn’t sure how much I would like this product from the photo, but I thought I would give it... Beautifully made burger smasher.
One thing I think everyone will agree on is that you cannot dispute the cosmetic quality of this burger smasher. The handle looks like exotic wood, and feels super smooth and easy to hold. The stainless steel plate has a brushed finish, is heavy, and has smooth edges, so you are not going to cut your hand if it rubs against it. I really can't say anything bad about this burger smasher. It's a beauty. But if the manufacturer or seller reads this I would love a response as to what the handle is made of and how it's attached to the stainless steel. My son and I disagree as we cannot tell for sure if it's real wood, and if it is, what kind of wood is it. The ad doesn't say anything about what it's made out of and if it is an exotic wood it would be a great selling point to mention. I hope this helps. Thanks for reading and liking. Lovely kitchen addition
Our old garlic keeper finally leapt to its shattering demise and I was saddened at losing a longtime companion. As I picked up the terracotta shards, though, I realized how splattered and stained it had gotten. Frankly, terracotta does a great job keeping garlic, but it doesn’t clean up well. Looking on line, I discovered that I could replace my old keeper with almost identical models. But then this pretty girl caught my eye. Terracotta overlaid with a lovely porcelain-looking coat. Which will wash off nicely. And rather than struggling to squeeze two heads through the small top opening, this wide-mouth beauty easily accommodates three normal-sized heads of garlic. Now she sits, fully ready for my next recipe, dressing up the shelf rather than hiding behind a basket. A nicely designed, simple, useful bit of pleasure. Pretty and Works!
I really like the look of this growing kit and that it stands straight up. It looks really nice on my plant window and takes up less room than the one I had before. Works beautifully! Sprouting like Posner
I follow Mike Posner, he is a great inspiration and a super healthy dude. Mike loves his broccoli sprouts, so I decided to give them a try. I ordered this and some broccoli seeds and I'm going to start sprouting! I follow Mike Posner, he is a great inspiration and a super healthy dude. Mike loves his broccoli sprouts, so... Very cool!
I've been growing sprouts for a while, and this is a good growing jar. It's so simple. Just add beans, etc (I use lintels) and in a few days you have healthy sprouts! This is a simple jar, with a bottom that drains well and a bowl to collect the water. It looks nice, works well, and is a great project for kids...and a healthy way to include nutritiens to your diet. I love it! I've been growing sprouts for a while, and this is a good growing jar. Sprouty Goodness
I love sprouts. Back in the day, there were a limited number of types of sprout seeds available. Nowadays, you can get any type of sprout imaginable. I bought a kit containing some plastic growing trays, and had no success. I saw this and it reminded me of the "foolproof" sprout grower I had years ago and decided to give it a go. I like the terra cotta dish that keeps it from leaking out on the counter. It also helps keep it stable. My previous one (from three decades ago), you had to lay the jar down on it's side. If you're thinking, "that's pretty bloody stupid to lay a round glass object on it's side", you would be correct. That was how I came to be grower-less. I love sprouts. Beautiful and easy to use!
I love this little sprout jar! This kit is really well-made, and the mesh lid is fine enough to easily strain the seeds without worrying about losing any. Not to mention, the glazed terra cotta base is gorgeous - this is a really pretty little setup to have on your counter, unlike a lot of other sprout kits. I've never grown sprouts before, but I started soaking the seeds on a Monday evening and today (Wednesday morning) they've already started to germinate - should only be another couple days until I have fresh sprouts to harvest! I'll probably order a second one too so I can have two jars going at staggered rates. I also hope the company start selling this in a larger size. Higly recommend! I love this little sprout jar!
